Dars-e-Nizami Qadeem
Preserving the complete scholarly tradition
Mufti Amir's teaching at Imam Rabbani Institute places particular emphasis on the traditional Dars-e-Nizami Qadeem curriculum and its integration of linguistic, transmitted and rational sciences.
Arabic language provides access to the texts; the transmitted and legal sciences develop understanding of revelation and law; and Mantiq, Ma'qulat, Hikmah and related disciplines train careful reasoning and analysis.
Students progress through classical works as connected parts of a complete scholarly formation.

Close study of the classical texts
Teaching trains students to understand the reasoning of a text rather than merely translate its words or memorise its conclusions. Each work is studied within the wider discipline to which it belongs.
